CEO of the Novi Sad Fair new Chair of CEFA

At the annual general assembly of the Central European Fair Alliance (CEFA), held today in Bulgaria at the Sofia Fair, the Chief Executive Officer of the Novi Sad Fair, Goran Vasić, has been promoted to the Chair of CEFA for 2010/2011.
The assembly was attended by representatives of 23 fair institutions from 15 countries – Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, as well as a representative of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), Mr Manfred Wutzlhofer.
In accordance with the Alliance’s mission, and the partnerships among the members and their endeavour to facilitate efficient access to markets, as well as the great sales potential for exhibitors and a wide offer for visitors, the Novi Sad Fair and its partners have received strong support to its new business strategy and a recognition of its status and business concept which creates new integration opportunities and the development potential through the new appointment of the CEO of the Novi Sad Fair, Mr Goran Vasić.
Other points in the agenda included discussions about the membership application from the Moldexpo Fair (Moldavia), Nexidian (Bucharest, Romania) – the exhibition industry partner, and the Exhibition Association of Southeast Europe (EASE) has been granted membership as a sub-regional association.
